Description
We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our Austin team to scale our development efforts on Platform Tooling initiatives.
You will work on building data application tools and frameworks which empower our Internal Teams. You will work closely with the Data Engineers on the team to add new features and maintain our data pipelines written in Go. You can expect to interact with various languages and technologies including, but not limited to Go, React, and Clickhouse.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement key features of our internal applications
- Work closely with a cross-functional team to design features and solutions that solve critical business problems
- Contribute to improving an evolving platform architecture for scalability, observability, and reliability
- Continuously involved in knowledge sharing and mentorship
Requirements:
- B.S. or M.S in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other quantitative fields
- Experience working with Go, Python, Java, or equivalent programming languages
- Knowledge of SQL and common relational database systems such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Experience with CI/CD, Gitlab CI
- Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work through ambiguous business requirements
