At Bayer, we're seeking a Field Support Associate II to join our team in Urbandale, Iowa. As a Field Support Associate II, you will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency across North America Field Testing by capturing field data insights, growing your network, operating cutting-edge technology, and unlocking innovation.
Your primary responsibilities will include executing field research trials through collaborative partnerships, machine operation, phenotyping, training, and data collection. You will utilize cutting-edge technology and innovation to operate and maintain field research equipment and deliver high-quality data. You will also travel 75% of the time, performing equipment operations in corn, soybean, canola, wheat, and cotton across North America.
As a Field Support Associate II, you will thrive in agile environments, drive high-quality deliverables, demonstrate effective communication across teams, and show initiative in problem-solving with peers. You will ensure safe and efficient operations in alignment with Sustainability Safety Health & Environment (SSHE), Stewardship requirements, and Business Code of Conduct and Ethics Standards.
We are looking for an individual who possesses a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, experience with equipment operations, and the ability to travel independently in North America up to 75% of the time. A Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Life Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, along with ten or more years of relevant experience.
