Cleaning Operative

We are seeking experienced cleaning operatives with great attention to detail to join our team at GLA City Hall, London. You will be responsible for carrying out cleaning duties as directed by the Supervisor, wearing the provided ABM uniform at all times.

The main duties and responsibilities include:

• Office cleaning and workstation cleaning, including IT equipment
• Hard floor cleaning using buffing machines and scrubber dryers (training provided)
• Vacuuming, dusting, and waste removal
• Cleaning kitchen and vending areas
• Washroom and toilet cleaning
• Machine carpet cleaning
• Touch point cleaning
• Cleaning crockery

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous cleaning experience (preferred)
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• A smart, clean appearance
• Ability to work as part of a team and alone
• A proactive, can-do attitude to work
• Experience with buffing machines is an advantage, but not essential (training provided)

The pay rate for this position is £14.80 per hour, with a flexible shift pattern of 0 hours per week.
