As a European compliance product team lead in the GDI&A Strategy & Enterprise Analytics (SEA) team, you will lead a cross-functional team to utilise the latest tools and methods in AI/ML, data science, and analytics to enable business intelligence and data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities
- Manage a PDO team, including software engineers, tech anchors, data scientists, and more.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business opportunities and translate ideas into data-driven analytics solutions.
- Prioritise and optimise resource allocation based on business impact, and clearly communicate product strategy and vision to stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain demand management processes and integrate with other teams.
- Guide the product team to iteratively develop quick, customer-centric solutions.
- Leverage domain expertise, statistical analysis, and AI/ML modelling to optimise processes, ensure timely value delivery, and proactively improve quality and efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance on high-quality work and best practices.
- Support team growth, talent acquisition, and foster a diverse and inclusive environment.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in a quantitative field, such as Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Experience with progressive responsibilities in Data Engineering, IT, and Agile delivery.
- Experience in data modelling, mathematical programming, AI/ML, and statistical analysis.
- Experience deploying products in Google Cloud Platform or equivalent.
- Experience defining product vision, strategy, product roadmaps, and creating and managing backlogs.
- Comfortable working in an environment where problems are not always well-defined.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to engage with all levels, and ability to teach and influence others.
- Well-organised, independent, and ready to work with minimal supervision.
- Inquisitive, proactive, and interested in learning new tools and techniques.
- Desire to excel and work with talented people.
