Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will:

  • Design and develop scalable stateful web services and client-side business logic using Java or Python programming languages.
  • Build REST API and ensure that data and services are available internally and externally via the internet.
  • Perform log storage and analysis.
  • Implement real-time collaboration features for web.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements and deliverables.
  • Implement security measures such as access controls, data encryption, and data backups, ensuring compliance with Platform as a Service requirements.
  • Implement layout styling of web applications.
  • Provide advanced technical support for the current service and take lead in the analysis and resolution of issues reported in Production and UAT.
  • Perform source code management.
  • Use Continuous Integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure that changes are incorporated into shipping software and deployed correctly.
  • Debug software using an interactive debugger, to triage and reproduce client/server issues.
  • Translate design requirements into functional specifications.
  • Utilize NoSQL and SQL database technologies and databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and data modeling.
  • Design and implement large-scale distributed systems in a cloud-native environment.
  • Mentor developers, provide guidance on technical issues, and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.

Qualifications

You will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • 4 years of experience with each of the following skills:
  1. Utilize Java Spring Boot framework to design and develop REST APIs.
  2. Utilize GitHub for source code management.
  3. Utilize Gradle for build automation, dependency.
  4. Utilize a database for data storage, retrieval, management, and ensuring data integrity and security.
  5. Utilize Jenkins or Tekton for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) automation.
  6. Utilize Spring Boot for creating stand-alone, production-grade Spring-based applications with minimal configuration.
  7. Utilize OpenShift for container orchestration and management.
