Employee Sanitation

We are seeking an Employee Sanitation to join our team at our facility in Bergen op Zoom. As an Employee Sanitation, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene across the plant.

Job Summary: You will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the factory and its surroundings. Your duties will include performing cleaning and tidying tasks according to a set programme, conducting quality checks on cleaning work, and supporting during emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the factory and its surroundings
• Ensure that production areas are food-safe and ready for audits
• Conduct visual quality checks on cleaning work
• Provide support during emergencies
• Safeguard your own safety and that of others when using high-pressure cleaning equipment, hot water, and chemicals
• Accurately record cleaning activities and quality checks
• Supervise contract cleaners

Requirements:

• Experience in cleaning work in the food industry is preferred
• Good command of the Dutch language; proficiency in English is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Meticulous and responsible approach to work
• Willingness to follow training courses related to safety, quality, and environmental issues
• Practical and hands-on attitude
