Technical Legislation Specialist

We are seeking a Technical Legislation Specialist to join our quality management organization. As a Technical Legislation Specialist, you will play a key role in tracking, interpreting, and applying global technical regulations and standards within our organization.

Main Responsibilities:

• Research and analyze technical regulations, requirements, and standards related to specific products and services
• Examine the compliance of technical documentation and product descriptions
• Develop and support the implementation of compliance strategies
• Review product and system development processes from a technical and regulatory compliance perspective
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and studies for internal and external use
• Continuously monitor changes and trends in the global technical regulatory environment
• Track the activities of EU, UNECE, and other regulatory bodies
• Collect, interpret, and communicate requirements in areas such as safety, emissions, environmental protection, electrical systems, driver assistance, and autonomous technologies
• Liaise with authorities, industry organizations, and internal stakeholders
• Provide professional support for homologation activities
• Conduct internal audits and provide professional guidance to related organizations
• Participate in industry working groups and professional committees

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, energy engineering, environmental engineering, natural sciences, or a similar technical field, or a law degree with a technical interest
• Has at least 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Possesses confident English and German language skills
• Proficient in using MS Office applications
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Precise, thorough, and detail-oriented work style
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Able to work independently and effectively in a team
• Familiar with the context of technical requirements and their legal implications
• Open to international business trips
