Cleaning Operative

We are seeking a Cleaning Operative to join our team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and hygienic environments across various sites.

The role involves day shifts from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with flexibility to work night shifts from 10:45 pm to 6:45 am as required. You will be expected to:

• Carry out general cleaning duties including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
• Dust and wipe surfaces, empty bins, and dispose of waste appropriately
• Clean toilets, washrooms, and replenish consumables
• Clean kitchens, staff areas, and communal spaces
• Sanitize touchpoints and high-traffic areas
• Clean 5 bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms
• Follow cleaning schedules and work instructions
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and in accordance with COSHH regulations
• Report maintenance issues, accidents, damages, or health and safety concerns to management

The pay rate for this role is £15.67 per hour.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, office, retail, healthcare, or educational environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable, flexible, and punctual
• Good communication skills
• Ability to travel between sites
