Description
As an Engineering Specialist-Maintenance at Ford, you'll play a crucial role in leading MOS (Maintenance Operating System) initiatives within the production and facilities department. Your responsibilities will include optimizing current production processes and maintenance tasks, leading equipment rebuilds, project and shutdown planning with engineers and production, spare part inventory auditing, and developing preventative/predictive maintenance practices to ensure 100% equipment uptime.
You'll work closely with the production team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity. You'll also be responsible for providing input on new equipment design and purchase, supporting new model/equipment launch as required, and leading UAW personnel.
To succeed in this role, you'll need excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You'll also need to be able to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business results.
