Description
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Customization Cell is looking for a 3D Art Manager to oversee the creation of art assets, from initial concept art to final delivery, providing feedback to external outsourcing partners throughout the process and ensuring they follow the overall artistic direction and quality standards.
The role involves collaborating with art directors and production teams to establish coherent visual styles for each new season, conveying high expectations to outsourcing partners regarding quality standards and production requirements, supervising and approving work completed by outsourcing partners, and providing clear and actionable feedback to vendors to ensure assets meet artistic expectations and production standards.
Key responsibilities include supporting the implementation of seasonal artistic styles defined by the Art Directors, ensuring alignment with the overall artistic direction of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, supporting the translation of concept art and production designs into high-quality in-game 3D assets, and ensuring that outsourced 3D assets remain visually consistent with the game's established artistic direction and quality expectations.
The role requires excellent artistic and technical skills, ability to manage and communicate effectively with external outsourcing partners, leadership, time and priority management, ability to assemble productive teams, good interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility in organizing work, resourcefulness in problem-solving, stress and change management skills, sense of initiative, knowledge of the technical constraints of real time, 3D engines and level editors, and knowledge of the tools used by team members.
