Electrical Maintenance Technician - Day Shift

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Bergen op Zoom plant. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on our production lines and equipment.

Job Summary: You will work in a large factory with a high degree of automation and varied techniques. You will be part of the Technical Services team and report to the Supervisor Technical Services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and replace parts
• Program, configure, and operate controls for all installations and equipment related to processing
• Have knowledge of PLCs, temperature and frequency controllers, and industrial automation
• Submit proposals for modifications to current installations
• Supervise external technicians during work execution
• Register performed maintenance, used materials, and special occurrences in our ERP system (SAP)
• Comply with company and food safety regulations

Requirements:

• Completed MBO level 3 or 4 education in electrical engineering
• Demonstrable work experience in electrical engineering in a production environment
• Knowledge of NEN 3140 regulations
• Computer skills and preferably experience with SAP
• Hands-on mentality, showing initiative and creativity in finding technical solutions
• Drive to continuously improve processes
• Willingness to work shift work (including night shifts) at a later stage
