Mechanical Engineer

Job Overview

We're seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Arc, a company building 100% electric boats. You'll work on designing and developing electric boats, reporting to the Manager, Mechanical Hardware Engineering.

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage large and complex CAD assemblies
• Model Class A surfaces and boat interiors
• Own hardware from start to finish, including specifications, design, prototyping, testing, and high-volume manufacturing
• Support industrial design of next-generation products
• Interface with suppliers and contractors

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 2+ years of industry experience
• Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter
• Basic understanding of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals

Bonus Qualifications:

• Design for manufacturing experience with soft goods and composites fabrication
• Willingness to provide hands-on support with fabrication and assembly
• Ability to articulate and defend design decisions
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Strong time management skills
• Comfortable working at a fast but sustainable pace
• Enthusiasm for boating and the water
