Cleaning Operative

We are seeking a Cleaning Operative to join our team at St James Quarter in Edinburgh.

As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the site, internally and externally.

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the site
• Support the Cleaning Presentation Supervision Team/Deputy Presentation Manager in day-to-day operations
• Be an active team member on site, ensuring service is delivered to high standards
• Take pride in cleaning duties, focusing on detail and working as part of a team
• Ensure high standards of housekeeping are achieved at all times
• Communicate effectively with the on-site supervision and management team
• Provide support to the business in service-related matters and promote the ABM FS brand
• Ensure company compliance with COSHH and Health and Safety Matters
• Carry out cleaning assignments as designated by management
• Display qualities of teamwork, positive approach, and can-do attitude
• Act as a team with colleagues on site and take pride in work
• Adhere to ABM/Site Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
• Provide daily feedback on duties completed, challenges, and areas for improvement
• Operate equipment and machinery as per training provided
• Use cleaning chemicals in line with COSHH regulations
• Attend work in a well-dressed and presentable manner
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required
