We are seeking an Operations Coordinator Supply Chain to join our team at the Phytomedicines Supply & Development Centre in Darmstadt. As an Operations Coordinator Supply Chain, you will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination and control of packaging material forecasts and orders, taking into account various parameters such as delivery capability, inventory level, warehouse capacity, and planning basis. You will work closely with planning, production, and external partners to actively contribute to the development of our processes and systems.
Your presente responsibilities and accountabilities will include:
- Creating, coordinating, and actively controlling packaging material forecasts and orders, considering delivery capability, inventory value, warehouse capacity, and current planning parameters.
- Analyzing deviations and proactively initiating measures for delivery problems, as well as driving forward complaints regarding packaging materials.
- Supporting production planners, e.g., regarding packaging material availability and launch planning, and taking over their vacation cover.
- Ensuring the quality of material master data for packaging materials and finished goods and continuously developing this further.
- Coordinating artwork changes under consideration of launch timelines in close cooperation with planners and the artwork coordinator.
- Being a key user for SAP & OMP with a focus on system usage, data quality, and end-to-end control.
- Leading projects and actively working on projects to optimize systems, processes, and working methods in the Supply Chain Planning area.
- Actively shaping digitalization initiatives, e.g., through the use of data-based analyses and new technologies (e.g., automation, AI-supported evaluations).
What sets you apart:
- You have a degree in industrial management or a related field.
- Ideally, you bring experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
- You have fundamental experience in working with ERP systems (especially SAP R3 and SAP PP) and a good understanding of planning processes and data structures; OMP user knowledge is an advantage.
- You have experience in project management.
- You have good MS Office skills, especially in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and graphics), as well as in Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- You bring analytical skills and are interested in data-driven work and process optimization.
- You are characterized by high communication and assertiveness skills, even towards external partners.
- You are able to structure complex issues and manage them solution-oriented.
- You are convincing through organizational talent and high resilience.
- You work independently, proactively, and solution-oriented and are a team player.
- You have fluent German and English skills in writing and speaking.
