At Bayer, we're seeking a highly motivated Primary Care Sales Consultant to join our team in Boston, MA. As a Primary Care Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing sales strategies for our approved Cardiorenal product and driving launch activities for an anticipated menopause product.
Your primary responsibilities will include building and developing professional relationships with primary care physicians, driving appropriate utilization of approved products, and leveraging expertise and knowledge of the diabetes and menopause marketplace to anticipate and effectively manage business opportunities and challenges.
You will also provide relevant input to other commercial colleagues on strategic and tactical planning for the territory, area, and region, and develop and implement effective customer-specific business plans.
In addition, you will prioritize time and effort to ensure optimal coverage of appropriate physician specialists based on opportunity and potential, understand fully the assigned customers' product and business needs, and work to meet those needs while adhering to all of Bayer company ethics and compliance standards.
Occasionally, you will be called on to share your exemplary skills with others in the region in a training capacity, leverage and embrace emerging technologies to enhance performance, and continuously strive to improve your proficiency.
To be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant sales experience in competitive landscapes, a proven track record of consistent high performance in a sales role or other relevant experience, and outstanding written and oral communication skills.
Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree, 5 years of successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical sales experience in competitive landscapes, in-depth knowledge in the cardiovascular and/or diabetes and/or menopause disease states, product launch experience, strong analytical and computer capabilities, virtual sales experience, and strong local relationships with HCPs and understanding of local market.
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $120,960.00 to $181,440.00, and additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.
