In this position, you will use your technical expertise to make driving safer, easier and better for our customers. The Advance Driver Assistance Technology (ADAS) team develops state-of-the-art software and algorithms to deliver best-in-class features like adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, and 360 camera systems. ADAS also developed Ford's industry-first Pro Trailer Hitch Assist, securing over 60 patents in the process. The team is responsible for the full end-to-end delivery of these features into production on all Ford vehicle lines.
We are seeking a diligent, detail-driven project management professional to support our Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Software development activities. This involves applying Technical Program Management engineering principles and analytical techniques in support of delivering platform software for the ADAS ECU.
Key responsibilities include partnering with key stakeholders to define, scope, prioritize, and deliver major ADAS software initiatives; understanding the needs of stakeholders across the product development organization and influencing as appropriate to achieve alignment on the prioritized initiatives; applying technical project planning, management, and leadership for the development and delivery of ADAS Software; and implementing and executing roadmaps, schedules, project plans, and resourcing plans to enable ADAS to meet commitments across all customer constituencies.
Key qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Controls Engineering; 5+ years' experience in one or combination of SW program management, engineering management, engineering supervisory role or a technical team leadership role in an embedded technical software discipline; and 5+ years' experience in the usage of industry standard project management tools for product development and delivery (MS Project or equivalent).
