As an Activity Staff member with Princess Cruises, you will play a crucial role in creating lasting memories for our guests by delivering a guest-centric product experience that aligns with brand standards and health and sanitization protocols.
Your responsibilities will include creating positive connections, emceeing key activity and entertainment programming, and supporting a guest and teammate-centric culture that increases Net Promoter, profitability, Service Excellence, and drives a safe and healthy environment in accordance with HESS protocols.
You will collaborate with onboard teammates to provide reliable information and updates to deliver an outstanding guest experience. You will provide a positive first impression to guests through a warm, welcoming greeting, maintain the company's standard, and comply with fleet safety regulations in accordance with HESS protocols.
You will own your experience area and support the development, implementation, and execution of initiatives in alignment with the Entertainment leadership team. You will anticipate and take ownership of guest needs and requests, demonstrate responsibility, authority, and accountability in all performance areas, and actively learn and answer questions on product, policy, demographic, itinerary, and port information.
You will arrive at events at least 15 minutes early to ensure efficient setup and engage with guests, and prioritize performance standards set out by the Cruise Staff Tier Program. You will responsibly use consumable items and maintain assigned equipment clean and in good condition.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate an understanding of the fundamental principles of guest experience and hospitality operations. You must also exhibit a commitment to providing exemplary guest service and a willingness to support others in the delivery of the same.
You must possess a stage style that is confident yet charming, charismatic and energetic. The delivery must be controlled, natural and easy to watch, yet engaging, humorous and endearing.
