Logistics and Distribution Director

We are seeking a Logistics and Distribution Director to set and execute the strategy for FUCHS' logistics and distribution programs, driving service improvements and optimizing cost.

The successful candidate will lead our warehouse teams, drive optimization in location and operations, and advance the company's technology to improve efficiency and cost.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing strategic leadership to manage and direct the logistics and distribution team
• Recommending and deploying opportunities for cost reductions, risk management, and service improvements
• Supporting the P&L through concepts that optimize ways to store and transport goods
• Managing key logistics and distribution partners and suppliers
• Developing and maintaining KPIs to drive continuous improvement
• Collaborating with internal departments to drive advanced technologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Transportation, Logistics, Distribution, Supply Chain or Business, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of previous managerial experience in logistics and/or distribution management
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong knowledge of logistics and distribution / supply chain
• Successful track record in leading senior-level strategic initiatives
• Effective communicator with strong relationship-building skills
