Description
As an Engineer Industrial Automation, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing software and hardware related to industrial automation at the plant. You will also support colleagues in the Technical Services department with complex issues.
The Technical Services department consists of 40 to 50 employees and is responsible for the technical performance of the plant. You will work in a team of enthusiastic and driven colleagues in the food industry, where various techniques are used.
Your tasks will include:
- Managing and maintaining software and hardware related to industrial automation, such as PLC programs;
- Ensuring modifications to software programs of control systems within your field of expertise;
- Working on projects related to industrial automation;
- Solving electrical technical issues related to automation;
- Localizing and resolving faults in networks, machines, and installation parts.
Requirements:
- Technical education in a relevant field (Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering);
- HBO level of thinking and working;
- Relevant work experience in controls and electrical engineering (preferred);
- Knowledge and experience working with PLCs, preferably Allen Bradley and/or Siemens;
- Knowledge of industrial installations and networks;
- Team player with the ability to work independently;
- Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
