By joining our team as a Rooms Division Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience on board. You will be responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in our public areas and staterooms.
As a Rooms Division Supervisor, you will be accountable for the housekeeping operation in guest and teammate public areas as well as guests' and officers' rooms. This includes performing daily inspections to ensure consistent cleanliness, sanitization, presentation, and timely readiness of these areas. You will also drive and optimize the use of OCEAN Hospitality and GuestView Housekeeping tools to ensure personnel deliver a truly personalized service to guests.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a minimum of two years of housekeeping work experience in a supervisory role in a comparable premium hospitality environment. Previous cruise ship experience is strongly recommended. You must have a complete understanding of Public Health and Environmental requirements relating to the servicing of public areas. Solid supervisory skills and the ability to support, train, and mentor junior staff are essential.
In addition to your technical skills and experience, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests from diverse backgrounds. You will also need to be able to motivate and inspire your team to deliver exceptional results.
