Description
As a Rooms Division Attendant at Princess Cruises, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our onboard facilities. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance in accordance with HESS protocols. This includes preparing and maintaining public areas, anticipating guest needs, and reporting maintenance issues. You will also be responsible for setting up locations for activities, official inspections, and special events, and for using consumable items, linen, and cleaning chemicals responsibly.
In addition to your technical skills, you will be expected to provide exceptional customer service, embracing an inclusive and diverse culture, and instilling Shared Purpose, Core Values, and CRUISE service essentials. You will share best practices and efficiencies with the Rooms Division leadership team and colleagues, and follow appropriate procedures for handling garbage, bio-hazardous, and sharps waste.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of one year of experience in housekeeping from luxury hotels or resorts, and be able to comprehend public health and environmental requirements pertaining to crew public areas. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively in English, and have a strong understanding of the foundation of guest service.
