Job Title: Waiter

As a Waiter with Princess Cruises, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our guests. You will be responsible for creating a comfortable and elegant atmosphere by preparing table settings and maintaining service stations to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare table settings and maintain service stations in accordance with company standards
• Understand food and beverage menus and actively upsell and make recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary needs
• Manage orders for assigned areas using on-board tools and technology
• Deliver food and beverages as requested, on time, in the correct service order and according to brand standards
• Ensure service procedures are followed during meal times, including clearing and cleaning tables to brand standards
• Cultivate a memorable connection with each guest by always showing genuine interest during service and remaining fully engaged throughout the cruise

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years fine dining experience as a Waiter or Restaurant Supervisor in a large hospitality setting
• Good knowledge of fine dining service standards and international cuisine
• Good knowledge of wine is also required
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
• Understanding of the fundamentals of guest service and the ability and willingness to provide outstanding service to our guests
