Senior Industrial Engineer

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to join their Manufacturing Team. The role involves developing simulation and optimization models to predict manufacturing process behavior and drive real-world adaptations.

Responsibilities:

• Capture current processes in a 3D simulation-based virtual factory
• Create feasible plans and schedules for shop floor, warehouse, factory, and supply chain execution
• Maintain an adaptive virtual factory for determining future performance
• Design new production lines and work station layouts
• Identify high-variation processes, imbalances, and bottlenecks
• Translate and drive action from metrics and KPIs
• Produce and maintain capacity plans, balanced line layouts, and staffing allocations
• Collaborate on operational improvements for next-generation defense products

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Experience with simulation software (Technomatix 'Plant Sim' or equivalent) or object-oriented programming languages (Python, R, C++, Java, etc.)
• Ability to read technical documentation
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• Prior experience designing and setting up new production lines or factories
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma principles
• Experience interacting with data via data visualization applications or SQL queries

Salary Range: $146,000-$194,000 USD Benefits: Comprehensive, competitive benefits package
