Staff Plant Engineer - Saxonburg, PA

Focuses on optimizing and advancing process technologies within production facilities. This position is responsible for leading engineering teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures the operability, reliability, and functional integrity of assigned assets;
• Manages larger/complex turnarounds of assigned assets (break/fix);
• Plans, executes, and monitors multiple basic budget/mid-sized investments;
• Participates in the planning and execution of major investments;
• Takes responsibility for troubleshooting asset and process problems;
• Identifies, evaluates, and implements equipment/process modifications;
• Ensures compliance with technical rules and regulations;
• Maintains technical documentation and records;
• Coordinates internal and external service providers;
• Executes smaller projects from planning to start-up;
• Identifies, evaluates, and implements technical knowledge and best practice transfer;
• Works with site management, other plant functional areas, and team members;
• Collaborates with professional companies for maintenance and technology troubleshooting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Related Field;
• 7+ years progressive experience in engineering and plant operations;
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and project management skills;
• Good knowledge of engineering tools and skills;
• Understanding of supporting processes associated with operations and maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MS in Engineering or MBA;
• Knowledge of Bayer technical practices and standards;
• Familiarity with medical device process technology and regulations.

Salary: $96,480.00 - $144,720.00 per year. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation. Benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.
