As Mechanic (5 Shift), you will be responsible for ensuring the good execution of maintenance and repair work on installations and equipment on our production lines, thereby guaranteeing the progress of our production process. We are looking for both electric and mechanical mechanics.
You will be involved in optimising our machinery park and performing modifications. You will also guide hired-in mechanics in carrying out maintenance and installation work and be responsible for maintaining records of the work carried out, materials used, the processing of work orders, and accounting for the hours worked by hired-in staff.
As part of our Technical Services team, you will be working in Bergen op Zoom and reporting to the Supervisor Technical Services. This is a full-time position, where you will work in a five-shift schedule.
Key responsibilities:
- Investigate the cause of faults and ensure faults are resolved;
- Involved in optimising the machinery park and performing modifications;
- Guide hired-in mechanics in carrying out maintenance and installation work;
- Maintain records of the work carried out, materials used, the processing of work orders, and account for the hours worked by hired-in staff.
Requirements:
- A technical education completed at least at MBO level;
- Experience in the field of mechanical engineering and/or electrical engineering in a similar function;
- Ability to work independently, but also as a team player;
- Good verbal and written communication skills, both in Dutch and English.
