As a Seating Host, you will report directly to the Restaurant Manager and take charge of seating and welcoming duties in the Colonnade during breakfast and lunch shifts, as well as table assignments and seating in the Main Dining Room during dinner shifts.

You will also manage all responsibilities related to arranging and organizing hosting tables, RSVPs, and SilverWhere duties, including entering reservations, assigning tables in the system, generating reports, and seating guests at the opening times of assigned outlets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate invitations and hosting table assignments.
  • Manage SilverWhere system and compile reports for the office.
  • Achieve 90% name recognition and acknowledge celebrations.
  • Ensure equal distribution of guests among restaurant stations.
  • Provide daily feedback to F&B Management.
  • Welcome guests in the Colonnade for breakfast and lunch, and assign tables in the Restaurant for dinner.
  • Enter newly gathered guest preferences into Siebel for future use.
  • Maintain a guest feedback log for effective follow-up on feedback and complaints, sharing with GSM.
  • Familiarize and execute the Seabourn HESS-MS relevant to the position.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • 2-3 years in a similar position within a 5-star establishment. Cruise line experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Professional and well-presented appearance.
  • Outgoing personality with excellent language skills.
  • Fast and accurate computer skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Food & Beverage (F&B).
  • Ability to handle pressure and difficult guests.
  • Strong understanding of Seabourn culture.
  • Exceptional name recognition skills.
  • Proficient in SilverWhere (training provided on board).
  • Effective planning and organizational abilities.

Travel Requirements:
