Quality Manager

The Adler Pelzer Group, a global leader in acoustic and thermal insulation for the automotive industry, is seeking a Quality Manager for its plant in Desio, Lombardy.

The Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and maintenance of the company's quality management system, adhering to the IATF 16949 standard and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Communicate and implement quality guidelines and policies throughout the plant
• Ensure dissemination and implementation of the Quality Manual, General Company Procedures, and Plant Operating Procedures
• Collaborate with departments to select specific customer requirements
• Use tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA to meet customer requirements
• Analyze internal and customer quality, reporting periodically to the Plant Manager and Group Quality Manager
• Maintain relations with the certification body and coordinate quality resources
• Train staff on quality tools and promote organisational and behavioural standardisation initiatives
• Coordinate and monitor data collection and prepare reports on plant quality
• Pursue continuous improvement of quality indicators and provide training in case of failure to meet objectives
• Establish improvement plans and monitor quality costs and non-quality costs
• Represent the company in dealings with customers regarding quality issues
• Communicate customer requests and define corrective and preventive actions
• Manage customer evaluation forms and portals
• Verify and validate final products against OEM/customer requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical or scientific discipline
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems and international standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
• At least 7-10 years' experience in structured manufacturing environments, preferably in the automotive sector
• Good command of English
• Good communication, presentation, and analytical skills
• Ability to lead, influence, and build strong working relationships
