Description

Anduril AIRS provides high-performance cooled infrared imaging solutions, encompassing IDCAs, modules, and cameras. We achieve this through state-of-the-art technologies, advanced designs, and vertically integrated manufacturing processes. Our core strength lies in delivering customized, mission-critical imaging capabilities to system integrators and instrumentation manufacturers facing unique, challenging, and complex thermal imaging needs.

You will develop and optimize IDCA manufacturing processes, leading the full lifecycle of manufacturing process design, documentation, and continuous improvement for IDCAs, ensuring high quality and efficiency. You will also drive production capacity growth, strategizing and implementing initiatives to achieve a significant increase in production capacity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and optimizing IDCA manufacturing processes
  • Driving production capacity growth
  • Innovating with automation and control systems
  • Ensuring operational excellence and uptime
  • Leading new equipment integration
  • Supporting new product and program launches

Requirements include:

  • A degree in a technical field such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, math, or a hard science
  • 10+ years of operations experience in process engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or in the design of electromechanical hardware
  • Professional experience in high vacuum systems and/or the cooled thermal imaging industry, specifically with Dewars and Coolers
  • A proven track record of yield and process improvement, ideally supported by a Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities

The salary range for this role is $143,000-$190,000 USD. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full-time offers, and Anduril offers top-tier benefits for full-time employees.
