Description
We are looking for an Employee Sanitation to join our team at our Bergen op Zoom plant. As an Employee Sanitation, you will play a crucial role in improving food safety and hygiene standards within the plant. Working as part of a team, we strive for higher standards of hygiene across departments and the entire outdoor area. Your tasks will include carrying out cleaning and tidying work according to a set programme.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining order and cleanliness of the factory and factory grounds
- Ensuring food-safe production and being prepared to receive audits at all times
- Conducting visual quality control checks on cleaning
- Supporting in emergency situations
- Safeguarding your own safety and that of others when using high-pressure sprays, hot water, and chemicals
- Accurately and thoroughly recording your work and checks
- Supervising and guiding new cleaners
What you bring:
- Experience with cleaning work in the food industry is preferred
- Good knowledge of the Dutch language is required, English is an asset
- You are able to work independently as well as in a team
- You are a proactive, meticulous person who takes responsibility
- Willingness to follow courses on safety, quality, and the environment
- You are willing to roll up your sleeves
