At Ford Motor Company, we are seeking an experienced MP&L Supervisor to join our team. As an MP&L Supervisor, you will be responsible for coaching Safety, Quality, and Productivity teams to ensure objectives are met through standardized work. You will also monitor and respond to andon occurrences, verify process confirmation, and support continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coaching Safety, Quality, and Productivity teams to ensure objectives are met through standardized work
- Monitoring and responding to andon occurrences
- Verifying process confirmation to ensure safe, smooth, and quality production
- Supporting continuous improvement and problem resolution
- Building Team Leader and Team Member capability
- Creating a conducive work environment for teams
- Basic administration of supervisory responsibilities and documents
- Ensuring proper material flow from receiving dock to production line feed location
- Providing direction and support in resource allocation
- Supporting Ford Production System and synchronous material flow through lean manufacturing practices
Successful candidates will have a high school diploma and prior experience working in body shops, stamping, or subassembly, or manufacturing assembly and machining. A bachelor's degree in Industrial Operations, Transportation & Logistics, Supply Chain Management & Information Systems, Applied Engineering Science, Packaging Engineering, or Business Mgmt. is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and administrative skills, ability to multi-task, and strong problem-solving and conflict management skills. Leadership in One FORD behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills are essential.
