Description
We're seeking a skilled Brake Controls System Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will lead the design and development of advanced electronic brake control systems. Your expertise will help us deliver anti-lock braking, stability control, regenerative braking, electric brake boost, and support Driver Assistance features.
In this role, you will lead a team responsible for designing parts that comply with corporate and legal requirements. You will also be responsible for coordinating engineering efforts for vehicle/system/subsystem/component part development and release for a global team of engineers.

Responsibilities:
- Lead design and development of advanced electronic brake control systems
- Coordinate engineering efforts for vehicle/system/subsystem/component part development and release for a global team of engineers
- Provide engineering sign-off for vehicles
- Approve engineering changes
- Establish overall tone and priorities to ensure GPDS deliverables requirements are met
- Ensure rapid response to customers' field concerns on current product lines
- Manage resources across vehicle line consistent with business plan
- Foster growth of all engineering personnel via career development, skills training, cross-functional assessment, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering
- Minimum 7 years design or development experience in chassis or powertrain controls
- Experience with Quality Metrics and Analysis Tools
- Experience with Total Value Management (TVM) and Material Cost Reductions
- Familiarity with vehicle network communication (CAN)

- Motivation to bring new technologies from concept to production in a short time period
- Familiarity with digital and analog data acquisition systems
- Awareness of, or experience with ISO 26262
- Experience with complex system analysis tools & methods
- Experience with controls modeling (e.g. in Matlab/Simulink, Stateflow, SysML)
- Experience with HIL simulation and testing
