Redovisningschef

We are seeking a qualified and business-oriented Redovisningschef (Accounting Manager) to join our team at AVL MTC Motortestcenter AB in Haninge.

As the successful candidate, you will have overall responsibility for the company's accounting and ensure that financial reporting is accurate and in accordance with applicable regulations, group requirements, and IFRS.

Your main tasks will include:

• Managing and developing the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, annual reports, tax returns, and reporting to the parent company
• Ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
• Driving improvement and digitalization initiatives, and developing finance processes and procedures
• Participating in and leading projects within finance and business development to support the company's growth and development

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Academic education in economics or equivalent experience
• Several years of experience as an Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, or similar qualified finance role
• Good knowledge of Swedish accounting and IFRS
• Experience with financial statements, annual reports, tax returns, and group reporting
• Ability to identify, drive, and implement improvement initiatives
• Interest in digitalization and development of finance processes
• Excellent skills in Excel
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal
