As an Operations Coordinator II, you will play a crucial role in supporting site production operations by coordinating administrative and operational activities across multiple functional areas, ensuring smooth day-to-day site support and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee operational activities within the assigned area of responsibility, including HSE, greenhouse operations, plant operations, human resources, accounts payable, and procurement.
- Coordinate community outreach events representing the site, fostering positive relationships with local stakeholders and enhancing the site's community engagement.
- Support and coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless transition for new hires and departing employees.
- Review payroll systems and verify that all employee data is accurate by the close of each payroll period, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, leveraging data insights and stakeholder feedback.
- Manage accounts payable activities, including vendor data, invoices, payments, and discrepancy resolution.
- Support the site expense management program and assist employees with expense report completion.
- Assist with production orders, inventory management, order review, and discrepancy corrections.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Preferred: 3 years of relevant experience, or associate or bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational, prioritisation, and detail orientation skills.
- Understanding of manufacturing operations and/or willingness to learn agricultural operations.
- Ability to quickly connect, analyse, and interpret data.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements:
- Ability to work extended hours and rotational shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to work in a greenhouse environment.
- Ability to walk on uneven surfaces.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary: $53,360.00 - $80,040.00.
- Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission.
- Benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.
