As an Operations Coordinator II, you will play a crucial role in supporting site production operations by coordinating administrative and operational activities across multiple functional areas, ensuring smooth day-to-day site support and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operational activities within the assigned area of responsibility, including HSE, greenhouse operations, plant operations, human resources, accounts payable, and procurement.
  • Coordinate community outreach events representing the site, fostering positive relationships with local stakeholders and enhancing the site's community engagement.
  • Support and coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless transition for new hires and departing employees.
  • Review payroll systems and verify that all employee data is accurate by the close of each payroll period, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, leveraging data insights and stakeholder feedback.
  • Manage accounts payable activities, including vendor data, invoices, payments, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Support the site expense management program and assist employees with expense report completion.
  • Assist with production orders, inventory management, order review, and discrepancy corrections.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred: 3 years of relevant experience, or associate or bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational, prioritisation, and detail orientation skills.
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations and/or willingness to learn agricultural operations.
  • Ability to quickly connect, analyse, and interpret data.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to work extended hours and rotational shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a greenhouse environment.
  • Ability to walk on uneven surfaces.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary: $53,360.00 - $80,040.00.
  • Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission.
  • Benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.
