FBS - Strategy Consultant II (Portfolio Governance)

Our Client, a leading US insurer, seeks a Strategy Consultant II to join the Strategy Execution Team. You will enable successful strategy execution by establishing governance structures, supporting portfolio management, and ensuring initiatives are delivered consistently.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and manage portfolio governance structures
• Maintain end-to-end visibility of portfolio health
• Ensure consistent application of SET methodologies and governance standards
• Support the definition of program roles and responsibilities
• Translate strategic priorities into structured portfolios and execution plans
• Facilitate portfolio intake and prioritization
• Partner with business leaders to ensure initiatives are properly structured
• Develop and maintain portfolio management tools and reporting frameworks
• Monitor resource allocation and execution metrics
• Track and report on KPIs and value realization
• Support onboarding to the SET operating model
• Coordinate governance meetings and strategic planning sessions
• Drive continuous improvement of portfolio processes

Requirements:

• Experience in strategy, portfolio management, or a related field
• Strong understanding of portfolio governance and operational excellence principles
• Experience managing complex initiatives using portfolio management tools
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience facilitating workshops and cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to influence without direct authority
• Familiarity with Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies is preferred
