Associate Commercial Counsel

As an Associate Commercial Counsel at Dialpad, you'll support the end-to-end contract process for commercial agreements, balancing business priorities with compliance and risk in a fast-paced sales-driven environment.

You'll work closely with senior counsel and cross-functional teams across Sales, Finance, Privacy, Security, and Customer Success to review and negotiate agreements, respond to requests, and help scale commercial legal workflows.

Your responsibilities include:

• Managing the contract review process for customer, partner, and vendor contracts
• Drafting, revising, and negotiating contracts, providing clear recommendations to internal stakeholders
• Reviewing contract modification requests and coordinating with internal business partners
• Guiding cross-functional teams on contractual questions and commonly requested edits
• Partnering with key stakeholders to address contract issues
• Providing legal support to the Customer Success team
• Assisting with efforts to improve continuing education and training programs
• Applying original thinking and continuous improvement to processes and services
• Leveraging AI-powered legal tools to accelerate work

Requirements:

• At least 2-5 years of experience as a commercial attorney
• Prior experience working in a sales-driven or fast-paced technology environment (SaaS preferred)
• Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Comfort using and learning AI-powered tools
• Fluent in spoken and written English
