We are seeking a Principal UX Researcher to help us set the path for our next generation of AI-powered experiences focused on monetization. You will be part of a diverse team that collaboratively develops products and ideas to empower swift movement, creating seamless and delightful experiences that impact billions of customers worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer behaviours, motivations, needs, and aspirations to create a differentiated advantage in building relevant and impactful experiences.
- Drive product strategy through rigorous, multi-stage research programs executed to high standards.
- Balance research rigour with adaptability, working with a fast-moving team.
- Collaborate across teams and disciplines from early product stages to final implementations.
- Guide teams in creative directions and help set ambitious goals.
- Identify new opportunities and generate innovative ideas to improve research processes and influence the approach to research.
- Lead research on highly visible products or business initiatives with notable risk and complexity.
- Influence at the highest organisational levels.
- Elevate the research craft of the team.
Qualifications
- Doctorate or Master's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) with relevant experience in User Experience Research.
- High-level research skills across qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working in B2B and B2C product spaces.
- Demonstrated commitment to user experience fundamentals, including accessibility and inclusive design.
Salary The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $165,600 – $296,400 per year. For specific locations like the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the range is USD $220,800 – $331,200 per year.
