Description
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide hands-on care to patients. You will assist with exercises, treatments, and patient education to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities: Assist physical therapists with patient care and treatment plans Provide direct patient care, including exercises, treatments, and patient education Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams Participate in patient education and discharge planning
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Post-secondary training in physical therapy assisting or related field preferred Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Washington Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods Strong communication and interpersonal skills
