Description
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and assist with rehabilitation services.
Responsibilities: Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and progress assessments Conduct exercises and interventions as directed by the physical therapist Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams Participate in patient education and discharge planning
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's degree in physical therapy assistant studies or related field preferred Current certification as a physical therapist assistant (PTA) or eligible to become certified Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
