Electrician

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Electrician to support maintenance operations across a large, busy site in Belfast. The role involves carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), routine visual inspections, and minor electrical maintenance tasks.

The General Electrician will play a vital role in maintaining the electrical systems at our client sites. This diverse role encompasses tasks such as high bay internal light repairs, external lighting repairs, and addressing EICR code 1 & 2 issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) checks on electrical systems and equipment in line with schedules.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify defects, wear, damage, or safety hazards.
• Complete basic fault finding and carry out minor repairs where appropriate.
• Undertake small maintenance tasks, including replacing lamps, switches, sockets, and minor components.
• Accurately record findings, actions, and reports using maintenance systems or logbooks.
• Liaise with on-site contractors to ensure relevant information is gathered, shared, and communicated effectively between teams.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and site procedures.
