Solutions Architect - Casino / iGaming

We are seeking a Solutions Architect - Casino / iGaming to join our Field Engineering team at Databricks. As a Solutions Architect, you will be an essential part of our mission to make data science and analytics accessible to everyone. You will use your technical expertise to demonstrate how our Data Intelligence Platform can help customers solve their complex data challenges.

The impact you will have:

• Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executives in your designated territory.
• Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritization and building technical champions.
• Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and 3rd party applications.
• Be a champion for both customers and colleagues, operating as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for significant data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
• Contribute to Databricks' technical community engagement by developing customer-facing collateral and leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.

What we look for:

• 5+ years of customer-facing technical experience.
• Experience engaging in complex customer interactions and sales lifecycle in a technical pre-sales capacity.
• Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives by developing relationships and orchestrating teams to achieve long-term customer success.
• Prior experience with coding in a core programming language (i.e., Python, Java, Scala) and willingness to learn a base level of Spark.
• Hands-on expertise with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms.
• Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape.
• Can travel up to 30% when needed.

The pay range for this role is $180,000-$247,500 USD. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
