Mechanical Design Senior Engineer II

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Senior Engineer II to join our team at American Honda Motor Company in Haw River, North Carolina. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving new technologies and mass production developments by market sensing, generating, and developing concepts to meet established specifications.

The role involves:

• Motivating, guiding, or establishing the generation of high-level drawings representing new technologies and components using computer-aided design
• Leading project teams to meet targets and schedules
• Developing bill of materials to track impacts of new technologies, features, and components
• Generating advanced ideas to improve Honda's competitiveness
• Supporting or leading market quality and VA themes

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
• 5+ years of engineering experience, preferably in Power Products or Powersports
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in FTA, FMEA, dimensional tolerance stack-ups, and application
