Description

We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer - AI Applications at Ford Motor Company. As an agent orchestrator, you don't want to be a faster keyboard. You want to be a manager of agents , handing off the heavy lifting, reviewing the output, and keeping your hands on the architecture.

The ideal candidate is productively lazy, with a dream workflow that involves describing requirements, letting agents build them, verifying, shipping, and repeating. You automate anything a human shouldn't be doing twice. Your biggest bottleneck should be deciding what to build , while AI executes the how.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Orchestrating agents to build AI-powered applications
  • Designing and shipping AI use cases, including RAG pipelines, LLM integrations, and agentic workflows
  • Building cloud-native systems on GCP, including designing, deploying, and operating infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines
  • Connecting systems that don't want to be connected, including building integration layers across enterprise SaaS platforms
  • Automating manual processes using code or agents
  • Building tools, agent workflows, and guardrails that remove friction and improve developer productivity

Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. MS is a plus.
  • 2+ years building and deploying full-stack applications in production.
  • 2+ years on cloud-native platforms (GCP preferred).
  • Demonstrable experience building AI agents or applications.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, AI engineering, AI-assisted development, GCP, databases, APIs & microservices, Git, IaC & CI/CD

Benefits:

  • Immediate medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage
  • Flexible family care days, paid parental leave, new parent ramp-up programs, subsidized back-up child care, and more
  • Family building benefits, including adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, fertility treatments, and more
  • Vehicle discount program for employees and family members, and management leases
  • Tuition assistance
  • Established and active employee resource groups
  • Paid time off for individual and team community service
  • A generous schedule of paid holidays

Salary range: $85,400-$192,000.
