Accounts Receivable Analyst

We are seeking an experienced detail-oriented professional with strong operational discipline, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and energised by the chance to bring AI and automation into a finance function.

Responsibilities

• Ensures timely and accurate billing to customers
• Resolves customer billing issues, reconciles account discrepancies, and disputes, and assists customers and internal departments with problem-solving needs
• Owns AR aging with a focus on preventing and clearing past due accounts
• Performs daily cash application and bank reconciliations
• Works with Synthesia sales staff to resolve open questions on customer invoices and status
• Registers and maintains customer portals, including working with other departments to complete periodic customer reviews of Synthesia
• Analyses billing trends, customer behaviour, and feedback to inform process improvements and enhance the customer experience

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Billing
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite, or equivalent platforms
• Strong understanding of Order to Cash transaction lifecycle
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to build and analyse reports
• Customer service orientation and strong communication skills
• Demonstrated success in identifying and implementing process improvements and automation

• Experience with Salesforce
• Experience with Stripe
• Experience with customer portals (Ariba, Coupa)
• Understanding of VAT & Sales Tax (Anrok)
• SaaS industry experience
• Examples of recent experimentation or utilisation of AI tools to improve a process or redesign a workflow
