Description
Farmers Insurance, a leading US insurer, seeks a highly organised Program Coordinator II to join their Operations team supporting a fast-growing Direct Sales Contact Centre. In this role, you will coordinate projects and strategic initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring cross-functional teams remain aligned, milestones are met, and business objectives are achieved.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate projects and business initiatives from intake through execution and deployment
- Support project planning, prioritisation, and alignment with business objectives and operational impact
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, staffing plans, and status reports
- Track project milestones, deliverables, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple initiatives
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with Operations, Compliance, Legal, Technology, and other business partners
- Schedule and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and stakeholder communications
- Prepare executive-ready project updates, presentations, and reporting materials
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with PMO standards, governance, and established processes
- Support change management activities, including communication planning, training coordination, and adoption tracking
- Monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and operational KPIs
- Identify risks, proactively drive issue resolution, and escalate concerns when appropriate
- Maintain project documentation, action logs, meeting minutes, change requests, and risk registers
- Support post-implementation reviews and identify opportunities for continuous process improvement
- Assist Program Managers with coordinating multiple projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
Requirements:
- Years of experience in project coordination, project management, program management, or business operations
- Experience supporting multiple cross-functional projects in a fast-paced business environment
- Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, reporting, and project governance principles
- Experience coordinating stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Compliance, Legal, and business teams
- Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience preparing executive-level reports and presentations
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to risk management
- Experience supporting change management and business transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies is preferred
