Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and support. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with澨physical therapy treatments, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with patients and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and progress assessments
• Implement treatment plans as directed by physical therapists
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Participate in patient education and training

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's degree in physical therapy assistant studies or related field preferred
• Current certification as a physical therapist assistant (PTA) in the state of Delaware
• Ability to lift and move patients as needed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a physical therapy setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs)
• Bilingual or multilingual skills
