Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at our Mt Pleasant location. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and assist with various tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and progress reports
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with various conditions
• Conduct exercises and activities to help patients improve strength, flexibility, and range of motion
• Use equipment such as exercise machines, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to treat patients
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate with healthcare teams

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of South Carolina
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a physical therapy setting
• Certification in a specialized area of physical therapy
• Bilingual or multilingual skills
