Section Supervisor Closures

We are seeking a Section Supervisor Closures to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading a group of technical estimators to drive lower costs and improved quality of estimates. The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and cost estimating, with experience in welding assemblies and final assembly processes. They will also have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead group of technical estimators to drive lower costs and improved quality of estimates
• Participate in management reviews and present cost estimating perspective supported by data and analysis
• Develop team's skills and work developing talent gap and roadmaps to improve the team
• Visit suppliers to benchmark manufacturing processes and improve quality of estimates

Qualifications:

• Strong leadership
• Ability to work on multiple projects and programs
• Leader with integrity, ownership, pro-active, solution-oriented leader
• Leader that is willing to present facts and analysis even when not supported by others
• Skills in putting presentations and ability to communicate in effective manner
• Experience in costing and manufacturing processes- preferred Stamping and Welding assemblies
• Ability to understand complex design and develop manufacturing value for the design at hand
