Software Engineer, Internship - Infrastructure

Palantir builds the world's leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. As a Software Engineer Intern in Foundations, you'll build the shared infrastructure that underpins Palantir's platforms and drive investments to improve engineering velocity and quality.

The Role: You'll work on one of four major categories of infrastructure: Backend Infrastructure, Developer Infrastructure, Frontend Infrastructure, or Storage Infrastructure. Your projects may include building features to improve the developer experience or improving platform scalability and reliability.

Core Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with technical and non-technical counterparts to understand problems and build infrastructure solutions
• Work throughout the product lifecycle, from idea generation to execution and rollout
• Be paired with a mentor dedicated to your growth and success

Technologies We Use:

• Varying languages, including Java and Go for backend and TypeScript for frontend
• Open-source technologies like Cassandra, Spark, Elasticsearch, React, and Redux
• Industry-standard build tooling, including Gradle, CircleCI, and GitHub

What We Require:

• Engineering background in fields like Computer Science, Mathematics, or Software Engineering
• Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and technical tools
• Experience coding in languages like Java, C++, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript
• Planning to graduate in 2028, with this being your final internship before graduating
