FBS IT Disaster Recovery Program Manager

Our Client, a leading US insurer with over $25 Billion in gross written premiums, serves more than 10 million US households. As a FBS IT Disaster Recovery Program Manager with Capgemini, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing a comprehensive disaster recovery program.

Role Description:

• Program Design & Governance: Define the enterprise DR governance framework, establish a risk-based testing methodology, and determine DR testing requirements.
• Testing Governance & Oversight: Develop an annual DR testing plan, implement governance cadence, track execution, and validate results.
• Issue Management Framework: Establish a DR issue logging, severity classification, SLA, and remediation tracking process.
• Regulatory & Audit Readiness: Produce auditable evidence and reporting, support NY DFS and internal audit attestation requirements.
• Automation Enablement: Build an integrated data model and implement a Power Platform solution for tracking test coverage, results, and executive dashboards.

Essential Job Functions:

• Oversee daily project tasks and budgets.
• Implement organisational governance.
• Interact with business and IT partners to foster commitment and teamwork.
• Handle specific customer challenges and escalations.
• Work with the business unit to define critical business needs and arrange resources.
• Deliver large-scale projects, including risk, quality, and change management.
• Evaluate and authorise work requests, develop work orders, and review cost estimates.
• Ensure Acceptance Criteria and execution of Acceptance Testing at the program level.
• Sign off on project deliverables and perform internal project close-down.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in IT disaster recovery program management.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Fluency in English.
• ISO 27031 Certification (desirable).
