As the Demand Forecasting and Analytics Capability Lead, you will spearhead the development of demand forecasting capabilities and tools that enable accurate, impartial data-driven demand forecasts. You will enhance forecasting analytic competencies and analysis of demand drivers and barriers among colleagues, and elevate the overall forecast literacy of commercial and development staff across the pharmaceutical sector.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive innovation and excellence in forecasting methodologies, creating and deploying toolkits that support data-based points of view and scenario-based thinking.
- Provide methodology and frameworks for Global Commercialization to identify and analyze drivers of demand variability.
- Partner with thought leaders to define the global demand forecasting strategy, aligning with Bayer's business goals and market priorities.
- Act as the primary liaison between clusters for demand forecasting initiatives, including local country teams.
- Advocate for data-driven insights and data science methods across the organization.
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources and valid applications.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with a deep understanding of pharmaceutical value creation.
- Proven ability to identify impactful levers, drivers, and barriers of performance.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Hands-on forecasting experience throughout a range of pharmaceutical contexts.
Salary range: $220,240 to $330,360 per year. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission. Benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.
